Full Renovations

About This Service

A full renovation is a different kind of project. You're not just adding a room or updating a kitchen — you're rethinking how the whole property works. That might mean stripping a Victorian terrace back to the brick and starting again with better insulation, new wiring, new plumbing and a reconfigured layout. Or it might mean buying a tired house in Worthing, knowing it needs everything, and turning it into something you're genuinely proud of. The scope varies enormously. Some renovations involve a complete gut — all floors up, all walls stripped, all services ripped out and replaced from scratch. Others are more selective: a new bathroom, rewired electrics, replastered walls, and a reconfigured ground floor. We're experienced with both. We'll help you think through what actually needs doing versus what can wait, so you're spending your budget where it counts. Because we carry all the key trades in-house, a full renovation with us doesn't involve juggling half a dozen different contractors. Our carpenters, our Gas Safe plumbers, our NICEIC-certified electricians and our general builders work to a single plan and a single timeline. Materials — from structural timber to tiles and bathroom fittings — are sourced through D.J. Redman, our trade merchant partner based in Worthing, who supply the South's building trade with quality materials at competitive prices. We've been working on properties across Worthing and West Sussex for over 70 years. Period houses in Broadwater, 1930s semis in Durrington, post-war estates in Goring — we know the local building stock and we know what to look out for. You get honest advice, clear pricing and a team that sees the project through from first day to final snagging.

We build the way we'd want our own homes built — properly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions About Full Renovations

This depends entirely on the scope. A single-floor renovation might take 8-12 weeks. A full top-to-bottom renovation of a 3-bedroom house typically takes 16-24 weeks. We create a detailed programme at the outset so you know exactly what to expect.

It depends on the scope. If we are working on a single floor or section, you can usually stay. For a full gut-and-rebuild, it is usually more practical (and safer) to move out temporarily. We will advise honestly based on your specific project.

Yes. Our team includes carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers, NICEIC-certified electricians and Gas Safe registered plumbers. We do not subcontract core trades out — everything is managed and delivered by our own people, giving you one point of contact and consistent quality.
